After graduating from high school, all Kenyan students experience a 10-month gap in their education before university matriculation. EFAC requires students to complete a 3-month community service project during this time. The give-back component of our program helps our students gain valuable work experience while paying forward the opportunities they have received as scholarship recipients.

Whether serving as primary school teachers, assisting in health clinics, or founding community-based organizations, EFAC scholars cultivate their leadership skills and develop a greater sense of purpose and empowerment before heading into their post-secondary years.
